I’m always looking for a fresh light dessert to take with me to get-togethers in the summer. Out quick and easy lemon flower tarts are perfect for your next get-together. It uses a ready-made pie crust which saves you an incredible amount of time. It’s a quick and easy dessert that looks impressive and tastes delicious.
To make these easy lemon flower tarts you will need the following –
15oz Box Pre-made Pie Crust
12oz Lemon Pie Filling
Flower Shaped Cookie Cutter
Cooking Spray
Muffin Tin
This is a fairly simple recipe that the kids can help make these too. It will require some adult supervision for the baking.
First, preheat the oven to 350F degrees
Next, toss a little flour on your work surface and roll out the pie crusts
Take your flower cookie cutter and cut flowers out of the pie crust
Place each flower into the muffin tin forming a cup shape with the petals overflowing the muffin tin
Lightly spray with cooking spray
Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the flowers have turned golden brown
Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack
Fill each flower with a spoonful of lemon pie filling
