Here’s a little backstory on Noddy –
Kuato and Dreamworks Animation teamed up to recreate Noddy Toyland Detective based on the popular TV series. So they took something kids loved off the big screen and transformed it into an interactive game on the little screen! And they also filled the game with adventures, storytelling, learning, and creativity plus lots of fun!
I had a 7-year-old and 3-year-old playing Noddy with me and they both had a blast. The 3-year-olds favorite thing to do was customize the car and drive around trying to solve the mysteries. It was right up his alley. He would see the clue show up on the screen and then he would start looking all over the game to see if he could find it. And while he was having a blast he was also learning!
Noddy Toyland Detective will help your child use problem solving and reason skills. Like when J was looking for the pieces to the mystery so he could solve it. There is also a musical Pirate Band your child can play with. Jigsaw puzzles too! Pretty much, the kids will have a blast playing while developing their memory, listening, problem-solving skills and more.
As a mom, I love this game because there are no in-app purchases!! You will never receive that dreaded email a few days later finding out that your little one purchased 3000 gems……10 times! You will never have your little one begging you to purchase anything. You just have to pay for the game to download and that’s it. That’s your only cost.
Another feature I adore is the screen time limit. Us parents are in control of how long they can play. You can set it up for however long you would like or leave it as unlimited. It’s really up to. But you won’t have to track screen time anymore. Just set the limits and the game will shut off when it’s hit.
I really love how the kids get to create the stories. That’s right, your little one will create stories that you can read together! Noddy Toyland Detective really focuses on literary skills to help your child expand his/her vocabulary, learn sentence structure and more. It also fosters nurturing, caring and empathic skills.
If you are looking for a fun way to help build, expand or start working on literacy skills for your preschooler Noddy Toyland Detective is a way to do it. I know J likes playing on our devices because the older kids do, this is an app that can help him feel like a “big kid” while enjoying activities that are geared towards his skill set and learning level.
