Finding Tiana at Disney World

Our second installment on finding all the princesses while at Disney World we are going to look at finding Tiana.  Unfortunately, Tiana is not available at a character meal. She is also only located at Magic Kingdom. But she does have her own private meet and greet location in Liberty Square. I thought the location was a tad hidden but very findable. If you are in Liberty Square and see the Christmas Shoppe keep walking to the pathway by the side. Behind the Christmas Shoppe is where you will find Tiana! And sometimes in the evening Prince Naveen joins her.

Prince Naveen and Tiana at Disney WorldTiana’s meet and greet location is in a beautiful shade covered gazebo, a perfect place for an afternoon break. We tried a few different times throughout the day to meet with Tiana and each time found her line to be fairly long. But we did learn a trick from a cast member. Wait until after the parade! We took in the afternoon parade and then headed right over to Tiana’s gazebo. Those cast members were right! We only waited a few moments.

Peyton Meeting TianaTianna is a favorite in our home because she loves to cook, sing and dance! She’s a down to earth, fun loving, hardworking lady that makes a wonderful role model. When Peyton got the chance to meet Tiana her whole face just lit up! You could see the joy. Peyton also talked Tiana’s ear off! There was so much Peyton wanted to share with Tiana and so many questions she wanted to ask. Tiana was a gracious host and listened intently to Peyton and her stories, signed her book and posed for a few pictures.

Peyton telling stories to TianaPrince Naveen was not in attendance the day we were there. But that was ok. Peyton only wanted Princesses in her book! Prince Naveen is sometimes present right after the parade and evenings. But if you have your heart set on meeting Prince Naveen I suggest attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Prince Naveen is typically in appearance at both of those events.

I love the smile on her face meeting Tiana! My daughter’s fave was Snow White and we lucked out by getting off the train at Magic Kingdom and she was just off to the side with no wait.
