Like many people I have the occasional blemish, uneven skin tone and sometimes even red splotchy spots on my face. When you are in your thirties and still experiencing acne it’s kind of embarrassing and frustrating. So, when the offer to try out Earth Ocean Clay Mask by La Beauté Pure in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion presented itself I could not refuse. I’m open to trying new products to help my complexion.
When the Earth Ocean Clay mask arrived I looked it over. The ingredients listed like benzonite, kalin and smectite clay were all natural ingredients I recognized. I’d seen them advertised by other beauty products that can help draw out toxins and alleviate red spots. Benzonite is particularly good at drawing toxins out of your skin and unclogging pores. With all these natural and healing properties I couldn’t wait to try it out.
That night, after I put my daughter to bed, I tried out the mask. It’s very similar to other mask as you apply it and leave it on to dry. Depending on how thick you applied the mask determines how long it takes to dry. Once dry I removed with warm water and a wash cloth. Boy did my skin feel clean! I really felt like the clay had stripped away all the excess dirt, oil and dead skin. I applied my nightly moisturizer and went to bed. I started to do this routine about two times a week and I can see the difference. I had a teeny tiny spot of eczema on my neck and that has cleared up. It’s no longer there! I had been fighting with that stubborn spot for months. And I feel like the congestion on my chin and jar line are starting to clear and fade away. For me, the mask is working at clearing up my skin.
