When I’m not in the office I am all about comfort. I love to wear relaxed fitting pants and loose shirts but I also want to look stylish. Just because you want to dress for comfort does not mean you have to sacrifice style. PRANA gets it, they make comfortable clothes that are functional, fashionable and comfortable. PRANA makes all their clothes with organic cotton. PRANA is part of the sustainable clothes movement. What is that? It means that the farmers and plants are exposed to less or no pesticides and toxins that traditional farmers. This means the ground is more fertile because it’s not being polluted with toxins. The

It means that the farmers and plants are exposed to less or no pesticides and toxins that traditional farmers. This means the ground is more fertile because it’s not being polluted with toxins. The farmers health is not put in danger. And the process to harvest organic cotton uses less water to process so it’s better for our environment. Using organic cotton is better for our environment and the people who farm the cotton. It makes a huge impact on the health of our planet.
Finding out why PRANA uses organic cotton and the process to grow/harvest the cotton really impacted my decision. I want to support a company that looks at it’s farmers as part of the family and puts their health and well-being at the forefront of the process. I like how PRANA takes the earth into consideration and does what is in the environment’s best interest.
Now as for the clothes, I love them! I tried out the Stacia Sweater and I paired it with the Mantra Pant. The Stacia sweater fit perfectly! I ordered a size up because I wanted it to be roomy, plus I live in Minnesota and wanted to be able to wear layers underneath it. It’s heavy enough I could wear it on a brisk day by itself. But it also makes a fabulous layering piece. The Mantra pant is also very comfy but a tad long for me. I’m only 5’2″ so I did need to hem the pants a smidge. However, the Mantra pant is meant to be roomy and flow a little. I’m just a shorty so it flows a little too much. But a quick hem and they are perfect! The are extremely comfortable through the hips and waist.
I was also impressed with the attention to detail in the clothing. The design woven into the Stacia sweater was simple, classic and detailed. I loved the label touch, a little metal tag with PRANA on it. The pants were made very well, with a large elastic waist band and drawstring closure they hugged my hips and fit perfectly. I had lots of compliments on the way they looked. Very flattering fit!
PRANA also makes dresses. They really have a beautiful line of sustainable clothing for men and women perfect for everyday wear.
