Get Fit for the Cure with Macy’s

Chances are you either have a first-hand experience or know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. Wacoal wants to help find a cure for breast cancer while also helping women find the best fitting bra possible.

Get Fit for a CureResearch shows that 8 in 10 women are wearing the wrong size bra. Can you imagine how uncomfortable that must be?? Every time I buy new bras I get fitted to make sure that I haven’t changed sizes. You can gain or lose 10 pounds and it can change your bra size. And even if you haven’t had a weight fluctuation but you’ve been working out, your weight can shift causing your bra to now fit well. I feel you should be getting fitted every time you purchase bras and you should be going through your bras on a regular basis and getting rid of those bras that have lost their shape and replacing them. I try to do this twice a year.

This weekend is a great time to go through those bras and replace them with a few new ones. Remember when I said that Wacoal wants to help find a cure for breast cancer while also making sure all women are in the right size bra? This week they are having their annual event, Fit for the Cure, at local Macy’s here in Minnesota.

DYG for Fit for the Cure by ariana clare-59If you stop by a participating Macy’s location, during the time frames below, and let Wacoal fit you for the perfect bra, Wacoal will donate $2 to the Susan G.Koman foundation. If you purchase any Wacoal or b. tempt’d item they will donate an additional $2 to the Susan G. Koman foundation. Those donations will be used for breast cancer research and community health programs.

Wacoal Fit For The Cure Minneapolis Area Events:

·         Thursday, April 6 – Macy’s at Southdale, Edina (mall hours)

·         Thursday, April 6 – Macy’s at Rosedale Center, Roseville (mall hours)

·         Friday, April 7 – Macy’s at Burnsville Center, Burnsville (mall hours)

·         Friday, April 7 – Macy’s at Ridgedale Center, Minnetonka (mall hours)

WacoalBy taking less than 15 minutes to meet with a Wacoal fit expert, you are helping to contribute to an important cause. Over the last 17 years, Wacoal has raised over 4.6 million dollars through Fit For the Cure. This spring, help Wacoal reach its goal of fitting 1 million women and donating over $5 million to Susan G. Koman.

If you are going to be out and about this week, take a few minutes and stop by Macy’s. Even if you only do a bra fitting you will be helping to raise money for Fit For the Cure.
