Jarcuterie: The Cutest Individual Charcuterie Cups for Parties
If you’ve spent any time on Pinterest or social media, you’ve probably seen beautiful charcuterie boards overflowing with meats, cheeses, fruits, and crackers. But have you discovered the newest entertaining trend? Jarcuterie!
Jarcuterie (pronounced jar-coot-er-ee) takes everything you love about a traditional charcuterie board and packages it into adorable individual serving jars. Instead of everyone gathering around one large board, each guest gets their own personal charcuterie cup filled with their favorite snacks.
Not only are jarcuterie cups incredibly cute, but they’re also practical. They’re easy to assemble ahead of time, simple for guests to grab while mingling, and help keep serving more organized at parties, baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, holiday gatherings, picnics, and game day celebrations.
One of my favorite things about making jarcuterie is how customizable they are. You can mix and match cheeses, meats, crackers, fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, olives, chocolates, and even sweet treats to fit your event or season. They’re as fun to create as they are to eat!
If you’re looking for an appetizer that’s impressive, portable, and guaranteed to get compliments, these individual jarcuterie cups are the perfect addition to your next gathering. Your guests will love having their own perfectly portioned charcuterie snack to enjoy while they mingle.
To make these delicious individual jarcuterie appetizers you will need the following –
1/2 C Raspberries
1 lb Buratta Cheese
5 slices Bacon
5 slices Ham
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Salt
Pepper
Edible Flowers (optional)
Jars
You can prep most of this beforehand. Cook your bacon until it’s crisp. Dice up the Buratta cheese. Also, feel free to switch out the Buratta for another cheese if you would like.
First, add a little olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to the bottom of each jar.
Next, add in the cubed cheese and a few raspberries.
Roll the ham and place a slice or two in each jar.
If there is still room, add in more cheese and raspberries.
Garnish with flowers and crisp bacon slices.
Enjoy!
There are great appetizers. You can make dozens of them or just a few. Plus, you can customize each jar too. If someone doesn’t like raspberries leave them out or add in a different berry. There are so many options!
My favorite jars to make these jarcuterie appetizers in our these WECK 762 Tulip jars. They are the perfect size!
