Marcus & Marcus : Bath Time Fun

What is the one thing all kids love to do in the bathtub? No matter what age they are. Think about it. Do you have an answer?? Well, it’s play! All kids love to play in the bathtub. And if you’ve ever given a kid a bath, you know they LOVE bath squirters.  Heck, kids love splashing water all over the bathroom in general but with bath squirters, they can actually use mom and dad as target practice! At least, that’s what Peyton did when she was younger.

Marcus Marcus Bath ToysOne day, when Peyton was much younger, we were playing with her bath toys during bath time and black stuff came squirting out! ICK, ICK, ICK! It was the grossest thing I had ever seen. I snatched my child up out of the bathtub and tossed out the toy. Then I investigated her bath toys. I started to hold those squirters up to the light. And you know what I saw? Black stuff, lots and lots of dark spots. It was mold, bacteria and who knows what else growing inside those toys. I swept them all into the trash can and we were down with them.

Marcus Marcus Bath Toy SubmarineMarcus & Marcus realized, kids love bath toys, they love squirters but no one like black goo shooting out of them. They created a line of silicone bath toys that can be taken apart after bath time and completely air dry. There is no trapped bath water in these toys. And if you feel like the toys need a good cleaning you can toss them into the dishwasher and run them through a cycle! How cool is that?

Because the toys can be taken apart no mold can grow inside of them. There is not that dark, damp environment for mold to grow like with traditional bath squirters. I love that you can toss them in the dishwasher to ensure they are germ-free. I’m thinking our other bath toys would probably melt.

Marcus Marcus Bath Toy SubmarineMarcus & Marcus has a complete line of bath toys for the newborns right through toddler years. You can find these adorable Marcus & Marcus silicone bath toys online or at select retailers.  For a complete list of retailers check out the Marcus & Marcus site.
