Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookie Brownies

I made these Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookie Brownies for my nephew’s birthday party. They were a huge hit! This recipe only makes 12 brownies so I was glad I made them a double batch.  Not one brownie survived the night. The boys polished off all 24 brownies before the sleepover saw the light of morning.

You can use double stuffed Oreo or extreme stuffed Oreo cookies but I would not use the original Oreo cookies. The more cream filling the Oreo has the better they turn out. So for these brownies, I used the Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookies.

To make a single batch of these Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookie Brownies you will need the following –

1 Brownie Batter mix and ingredients called for on the box
12 Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookies

Muffin Pan
Cooking Spray or Crisco

First, you want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees and move your rack to the center position.

Next, prep your muffin pan. Either spray the pan with cooking spray or lightly grease it with Crisco.

Prepare your brownie mix per the directions on the box. I suggest using a basic brownie mix, one that does not have any mix-ins. So no chocolate chips mixed in. The Betty Crocker brownie mixed worked really well for these brownies.

Drop a spoonful of the brownie batter in to the muffin tin.

Gently press the Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookie into the brownie batter. Be sure to not press it too much, you want there to be brownie batter on the bottom of the pan, not the Oreo cookie touching the bottom of the pan.

Cover the Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookie with the remaining brownie batter.

Bake for 18-25 minutes until the brownie batter is baked. You can test it with a  toothpick. If done, the toothpick will come out with a few cookie crumbs, if not done you will have raw brownie batter.

Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool completely. If you try to remove the brownies when they are warm you risk breaking them. But if you want until they are cool they are less likely to break.

Store the Mega Stuffed Oreo Cookie Brownies in an airtight container. They can be warmed up for a few seconds in the microwave or enjoyed at room temperature.
