Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

February 6, 2013 By Shanna Leave a Comment

I have been using Neutrogena body products for years. They
have always been a staple in my life yet I had never used the hand cream
before! A few weeks ago I received the Neutrogena Norwegian Hand cream in the
mail. I used it a few times. I liked how it was not super thick but really
moisturized my hands. Great for the winter or if you work with paper often,
this hand cream will eliminate dry skin and leave your hands feeling super
soft.  I liked the hand cream but I was
not having super dry skin at the moment so I was not fully aware of how much it
was helping.

I live in Minnesota and it gets cold here. We’ve had -20
wind chill temps and blustery wind over the past few weeks. My two year old
daughter, Peyton, refuses to wear mittens or gloves. We start out of the house
with them on but often before we get to the car she has taken them off and
stuffed them in her pockets. This cold, windy weather has really taken a toll
on her skin. One night, after her bath I was getting her ready for bed and I
noticed her hands. They were so red! Completely chaffed and looked extremely
uncomfortable. I felt so bad for her. I give her baths every other day in the winter
and her hands were not like this two days ago nor had I noticed while I was
dressing her that morning.  Immediately I
reached for the lotion the pediatrician had told us to use. Peyton cried as I
applied it saying it burned. I was shocked our pediatrician would recommend a
lotion that could feel uncomfortable with dry skin for a toddler. So after
looking around her room I remembered my Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand
Cream! I went to my bedroom and grabbed it off the nightstand. When I got back
to Peyton’s bedroom she was sitting on her toddler bed with cold wash cloths
trying to get the burn to stop on her little hand.

When I went to take her hand an apply the Neutrogena Norwegian
Hand Cream she fought me. I had to reassure her it wouldn’t hurt.  (Which I really wasn’t sure if it would or not
but was hoping it wouldn’t) I gently rubbed a little bit on the top of her hand
to see her reaction. She just sat there and stared at me and her hand. I asked
if it hurt and she said no. So then I applied more and really worked it in to
each little finger. Peyton was so happy! She said her hands felt much better.

I checked Peyton’s hands a few hours later and I swear the
redness was better. Before bed I applied it to hands and arms again. The next
morning I went to check on Peyton and see how she was doing. When I walked into
her room she was sitting on her little bed with the lotion! She liked it so
much (because it really did feel amazing on her dry chapped hands) that she had
gone into the bathroom and taken it back to her room. She had been using it all
by herself! I thought, “Well this kid is smart! She knew her hands hurt and
that this lotion made it better so she went looking, found it and reapplied it
herself.” It took about three days for Peyton’s hand to get back to normal but
I saw noticeable improvement within hours of using this lotion. I was so
impressed with how well it worked and how fast!

Neutrogena Norwegian Hand lotion is a must have if you live
in a cold winter state. It works extremely fast and well. It restored Peyton’s
hands to a better state than there were in before she got the chaffed skin. It
is now our only hand lotion we keep in our house. I’ve been so impressed with
Neutrogena Norwegian Hand Lotion. It delivers results and is not greasy or uncomfortable
to use. Another great thing is you can find this product almost anywhere! It’s very easy to find and affordable.
