New Year’s Eve Milk Shots

While at first glance these milk shots may look kid-friendly, I assure, they are not. They are filled with alcohol and so much more. But if you wanted to have a special drink for the little ones to ring in the New Year with you pick up some sparkling cider at the store!

To recreate these yummy New Year’s Eve Milk Shots at home you will need the following –

1 c.  Milk
⅓ c. Heavy whipping cream
⅓ c. Spiced rum
¼ c. Powdered sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
Silver and gold sprinkles
White cake icing
Shot glasses

Place the milk, heavy whipping cream, spiced rum, powdered sugar and vanilla extract into a mixing bowl, and beat on high for 1-2 minutes. Place the mixture into the freezer while you prepare the shot glasses.

Dip the lip of each shot glass into the white cake icing, coating the rim well.

Roll the icing dipped shot glass rim into the silver or gold sprinkles.

Allow the icing to harden.

Pour the cold drink mixture into the shot glasses, and serve immediately.
