Ninja Foodi Cornbread

I can pretty much make anything in my Ninja Foodi. So today, I decided to make cornbread in my Ninja Foodi. Yep, I made Ninja Foodi Cornbread and it took less than an hour from start to finish! Now that the cooler weather has set in we are all about comfort foods and what says comfort food more than cornbread? It goes perfectly with chili and we have several chili recipes you can try out too!

To make this Ninja Foodi Cornbread you will need the following –

1 Egg
1 C Buttermilk
1/3 C Vegetable Oil
1 C Flour
1 C Yellow Cornmeal
2/3 C Sugar
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt, Kosher
1 C Water

You will also need a Ninja Foodi, trivet, and either the 7-inch x 3-inch cake pan or a 7-inch springform pan.

In a mixing bowl, you are going to whisk the egg until it’s fluffy. It just takes a few seconds. So like 15 seconds should be good.

Next, add the milk and oil to your egg mixture.

Then mix in the flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

Spray your pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Wrap the pan in tinfoil.

Pour 1 c of water into the bottom of the Ninja Foodi.

Place the trivet into the Ninja Foodi and then place the foil-covered pan on the trivet.

Place the pressure cooking lid on the Ninja Foodi.

Set the Ninja Foodi to pressure cook, high for 55 minutes.

When the time is up let the Ninja Foodi do a natural release for 10 minutes, then flip open the valve and release the remaining pressure.

Use a towel to wipe off the water that has pooled on top of the tin foil.

Carefully remove the pan from Ninja Foodi and unwrap.

Slice, slather in butter, and enjoy!
