Ninja Foodi Hamburger Stroganoff

Peyton is currently rehearsing for a play which means our weeknights are crazy. We are either at play practice in the morning before school or after school which leads to not very much time for homework, chores and family dinners. This month, I’m relying heavily on our Ninja Foodi to help me get a yummy homemade meal on the dinner table quickly. Tonight, we are making hamburger stroganoff in our Ninja Foodi.

You will need the following to make Ninja Foodi Hamburger Stroganoff –

1 medium Yellow Onion, minced
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 lb 80/20 Ground Hamburger
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
10.5 oz can Cream of Mushroom Soap
1 Tbsp Flour
3 C Beef Broth
1 pkg Egg Noodles
1 C Sour Cream

This is a really straight forward recipe and everything is done right in the Ninja Foodi, making cleanup a snap.

First, spray the inside of your Ninja Foodi with nonstick cooking spray. This will help keep the hamburger from sticking to the pot.

Turn the Ninja Foodi to saute and let it heat up for a few minutes.

Then add the hamburger, onion, and garlic to the Ninja Foodi. While you are browning the hamburger break it up into bite-size pieces.

Once the beef is browned, sprinkle the flour over the meat/onion/garlic mixture.

Pour in the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper. Be sure to stir it well until it’s all combined.

Next, add the egg noodles.

Place the pressure cooking lid on the Ninja Foodi and lock it shut. Make sure the vent is closed. Set the Ninja Foodi on pressure cook high for 8 minutes.

When the timer goes off, let the pressure naturally release for about five minutes, let the Ninja Foodi switch to the warm mode. Then do a quick release to let the remaining pressure out. This could get messy so be sure to have a kitchen towel to toss over the steam spray to keep it from getting everywhere.

Once the pressure has been released you will be able to unlock the lid and remove it.

Then, stir in the sour cream until it’s rich and creamy.

Now it’s time to serve it and enjoy!
