Ninja Foodi Loaded Baked Potatoes

With back to school comes rushed evenings. That means little time to cook dinner before it gets late. I typically use our Ninja Foodi at least 3 times a week to help make dinner quickly. Tonight, we are making loaded baked potatoes in the Ninja Foodi. Yes, I know I can microwave potatoes but that alters the level of nutrients and vitamins in the potato. And baking takes too long. However, the Ninja Foodi can have a perfectly baked potato on my plate well under 30 minutes! I was able to fit 5 large baker potatoes in my Ninja Foodi at one time. That was more than enough for us.

Ninja Foodi Baked PotatoesTo make these loaded baked potatoes you will need the following –

5 Large Baker Potatoes
1 C Water
Butter
Sour Cream
Shredded Cheese
Real Bacon Bits or Crumbled Bacon
Chives

First, give your potatoes a good scrub under some warm water to remove any dirt.  Pat them dry and set aside.

Take your Ninja Foodi and place the trivet in the pot.

Pour in 1 C of water.

Arrange the potatoes on top of the trivet.

Place the pressure cooking lid on Ninja Foodi and make sure the vent is set to close.

Set the Ninja Foodi for pressure cooker, high, and 14 minutes.

When the timer goes off let the Ninja Foodi do a natural release. This means do not touch anything. It’ll take about 15 – 20 minutes.

Open your vent to let out any pressure that is left, twist, and remove the pressure cooker lid.

Take a tong and remove the potatoes from the Ninja Foodi.

Prepare with butter, sour cream, salt, pepper, cheese or any other topping you like.

Baked PotatoesEnjoy!

These are also great to prepare ahead of time and keep in the fridge. Then you can quickly reheat in the fridge for lunch or a side dish for dinner.
