Pamper Your Locks with Desert Essence

July 15, 2018 By Shanna Leave a Comment

I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."I know most you that read our articles are moms. For most us, shortly after we gave birth to those precious bundles our hair starting falling out and breaking.  We were told it was all hormonal and to just chill, it’ll get better. Well, it’s been 8 years and I’m still waiting for this to “get better”. Seriously, my hair is worse now that I have a mini-me running around the home than ever before. I can run my fingers through my hair and 9 times out of 10 I’m coming out with a few strands between my fingers. And my hair is dryer now too. Can you relate? Does your hair look frizzy even though there’s no reason for it too? Me too.

Desert Essence Anti-Breakage Shampoo and ConditionerFor the past few weeks, I have been trying out Desert Essence. And it’s also been humid as heck here too! So what is Desert Essence? I’m sure you’re just as curious as I was. Desert Essence was founded in 1978 and is based on the philosophy of using ingredients inspired by the desert. They are using ingredients that are the model of balance and sustainability where resources are limited. With this they came up with their nutrient-rich desert botanical hair care line, Desert Essence.  And they didn’t stop at hair care, they also have skin care and all over body care as well.

I have been using the Desert Essence Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner daily and I have also used the Anti-Breakage hair mask twice, just once a week. My hair is looking pretty darn fabulous! Each bottle of Desert Essence is infused with an exclusive blend of Country Life Maxi-Hair plus Biotin, it’s a breakthrough formula with keratin and Pro-Vitamin B5 that helps minimize breakage up to 61%. And I can say I do see a difference.

There is also Jojoba and coconut oils, aloe and saw palmetto to help smooth and fortify hair cuticles which also help to minimize breakage. But it’s not just all about the breakage. They also added in botanical oils and radish seed extract to give you some shine too.

When you use the Desert Essence Anit-Breakage line together you will notice a difference. I personally noticed the breakage is a lot less. How do I know? Let’s just say the shower never lies. You ladies know what I’m talking about. While I’m washing and rinsing there are not strands of hair coming out in my hands.

Desert Essence Anti-Breakage Shampoo and ConditionerI have really enjoyed using Desert Essence in the mornings. The fragrance turns my shower time into a spa-like experience.  So you know, for about 5 seconds I forget that there is a mini-me waiting for breakfast on the other side of that curtain.

You can find Desert Essence at your local natural grocers, Lucky’s Market, MOM’s Organic Market, and many more natural food stores. Check out Desert Essence store locator to find a retailer near you.
