Patriotic Brownie Cookies

These patriotic brownie cookies are the perfect blend of a brownie and a cookie. You get the fudgy goodness of a brownie but in the easily portable shape of a cookie.  Add a few patriotic M&Ms and now you have patriotic brownie cookies! It’s a simple, delicious dessert that is perfect for any patriotic get-together.

Brownie CookiesTo make a batch of these fudgy patriotic brownie cookies you will need the following –

1 box Brownie Mix
2 large Eggs
1/4 C Vegetable Oil
1/4 C Flour
3/4 C Chocolate Chips
1 C Patriotic M&M’s + Extras

I like to use a brownie mix that is a fudge brownie but does not require you to do a mix-in for the fudge.  We are only using the brownie mix so be sure to get one that does not have extra mix-ins needed.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

Pour the brownie mix into a large bowl.

Add the eggs, vegetable oil, and flour to the bowl and mix until well combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips and patriotic M&Ms.

Take a medium cookie scoop and scoop the dough onto the baking sheet.  These cookies will spread a little so space them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 9-11 minutes.

Brownie CookiesRemove the cookies from the oven and immediately place additional M&Ms on top.

Let cook on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then move them to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

Brownie CookiesEnjoy!

Store any left cookies in an air-tight container. They will last for about a week.
