Patriotic Strawberry Cheesecake Bites

Looking for a festive dessert that’s as beautiful as it is delicious? These Patriotic Strawberry Cheesecake Bites are one of our favorite treats to make for the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and all of our summer cookouts.

Made with fresh strawberries filled with a light and creamy cheesecake filling, then topped with juicy blueberries, these bite-sized desserts are the perfect combination of sweet, creamy, and refreshing. Their natural red, white, and blue colors make them an eye-catching addition to any dessert table.

One of the best things about this recipe is how quickly it comes together. In less than 15 minutes, you can have an impressive no-bake dessert that’s always one of the first dishes to disappear at family gatherings.

Why You’ll Love These Patriotic Strawberry Cheesecake Bites

  • No baking required
  • Ready in about 15 minutes
  • Perfect for Fourth of July celebrations
  • Light and refreshing
  • Easy make-ahead dessert
  • Kid-friendly recipe
  • Naturally red, white, and blue

Ingredients

To make these Patriotic Strawberry Cheesecake Bites, you’ll need:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓–½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh blueberries

Equipment You’ll Need

  • Mixing bowl
  • Stand mixer or hand mixer
  • Silicone spatula
  • Pastry bag
  • Large decorating tip (Wilton 1M works great)
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

How to Make Patriotic Strawberry Cheesecake Bites

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit

Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries and blueberries.

Remove the green tops from the strawberries, then slice each strawberry in half lengthwise.

Drying the berries well helps the cheesecake filling stay in place.

Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Cream cheese
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract

Beat until light, smooth, and fluffy.

Taste the filling and add additional powdered sugar if you’d like a sweeter cheesecake filling.

Step 3: Fold in the Whipped Topping

Gently fold the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and creamy.

Be careful not to overmix, which helps keep the filling light and fluffy.

Step 4: Fill the Strawberries

Transfer the cheesecake filling to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.

Pipe a generous swirl of cheesecake filling onto each strawberry half.

Step 5: Add the Blueberries

Top each cheesecake-filled strawberry with one or more fresh blueberries, depending on their size.

The blueberries create the perfect patriotic red, white, and blue presentation.

Step 6: Chill and Serve

Arrange the finished cheesecake bites on a serving platter.

Refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.

Serve chilled.

Tips for the Best Cheesecake Bites

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese for the smoothest filling.
  • Dry the berries thoroughly before assembling.
  • Use large strawberries for easier filling.
  • Pipe the filling just before serving if making ahead.
  • Chill until serving for the freshest flavor.

Fun Variations

Try these delicious twists:

  • Add mini chocolate chips to the filling
  • Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers
  • Drizzle with white chocolate
  • Add lemon zest for a brighter flavor
  • Use raspberries instead of strawberries
  • Top with blackberries for a different berry combination
  • Sprinkle with festive red, white, and blue sprinkles

These Patriotic Strawberry Cheesecake Bites are perfect for:

  • Fourth of July parties
  • Memorial Day cookouts
  • Labor Day celebrations
  • Summer BBQs
  • Graduation parties
  • Baby showers
  • Potlucks

Do not freeze.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes! You can prepare the cheesecake filling a day in advance and refrigerate it. Assemble the bites a few hours before serving for the freshest presentation.

Can I use homemade whipped cream?

Absolutely! Homemade whipped cream can be substituted for Cool Whip if preferred.

What strawberries work best?

Large, firm strawberries are the easiest to fill and hold their shape well.

Ingredients

  • 1 pk Cream Cheese, 8 ounces, room temp
  • 1/3-1/2 C Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 C Cool Whip
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries

Instructions

  • First, wash and try your berries.
Slice your strawberries in half, I also suggest taking the tops off. Then people can just pop them in their mouth and enjoy. Plus, you won't find strawberry tops all over later on, trust me on this one.
Next, place the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl and beat until fluffy. It works best in a stand mixer but if you only have a hand mixer it'll work, just may take a smidge longer. Taste a little and see if it's sweet enough, if not, add a little more powdered sugar.
    Fold in the cool whip.
Once you have the perfect consistency and flavor, it's time to pipe the cheesecake mixture into the strawberries!
Grab a pastry bag and a large tip. I used Wiltons 1M. Fill the bag with the cheesecake filling and pipe it on each strawberry.
Place a blueberry or a few blueberries depending on their size on top of the cheesecake filling.
Place in the fridge to keep chilled.
    Serve and enjoy!
