Peace on Earth is a collection of Christmas stories and sayings. The book is filled with beautiful illustrations that coincide with the story. I love how the book is filled with various little stories from the bible as well as just fun Christmas stories and quotes. My favorite section is called Friendly Beasts. It’s filled with pictures of the animals from the manger and it talks about all the things they did for Jesus the night he was born.
There’s even the lyrics to Angels We Have Heard on High which just happens to be one of my daughter’s favorite songs to belt out. But now we have the words! While there isn’t sheet music that’s ok because we know the song and melody by heart just didn’t know the words.
Peace on Earth a Christmas Collection would make a great coffee table book during the holiday season. It’s also a wonderful book to get your little ones talking about the season and what it all means. Perfect way to help your child understand there’s more to the holiday season than gifts.
