Protection from Mosquitoes and the Sun

Peyton's Momma Product DisclosureAm I the only one that thinks the mosquitoes are horrible this year? We went camping a few weekends ago and there were swarms of mosquitoes at dusk and dawn. But we also had to deal with them all day long! Bull Frog has developed a 2-in-1 product perfect for all day long. With an SPF 30 combined with  DEET-free insect repellent that deters bites for up to 8 hours. That’s right, 8 hours! Sun Screen plus Mosquito RepellantEvery morning before we got out of the tent I would apply the Bull Frog to Peyton and myself. We were camping in Glendalough State Park and the mosquitoes were bountiful. I must warn you this does wash off. Peyton went swimming in the lake the first night we were there and she was eaten alive heading back to the campsite. But as soon as I reapplied the Bull Frog the biting stopped.

Now the insect repellent will last up to 8 hours but if you are outside hiking, swimming or doing anything that may cause you to sweat I would reapply more frequently. If you start to feel like you are getting bit then you’ve probably sweat off your protection. I would suggest to reapply immediately and the biting will stop immediately. Bull Frog CampingHere are a few highlights of Bull Frog Mosquito Coast –

Water resistance (80 minutes)
Oil-free, Non-greasy, Ultra-light
DEET-free
PABA-free
Paraben-free
Enriched with Aloe leaf extract and Vitamin E to help soothe skin
Repels mosquitoes that may carry viruses like Zika, West Nile or Chikungunya

We are heading to Disney World next month and this is coming with me. With the Zika virus in Florida I am not taking any chances. Bull FrogAre you wondering why you would want to wear a repellent during the day? Here in the midwest we are used to being bitten at dusk and dawn and then not much during the day if at all. But the mosquitoes that carry the Zika virus are day biters! As the Zika virus continues to spread across the North America you are going to want coverage that will offer protection during the day as well as evening without having to use 2 products.

Having a 2-in-1 sunscreen and mosquito repellant makes getting out of the tent or house in the morning a quick routine.

You can find Bull Frog Mosquito Coast at your local retailer or online.
