Reese’s Pieces Miniature Cup Stuffed Brownies

One of my favorite candies are Reese’s Pieces and Peyton loves peanut butter cups so this looked like the perfect candy for our household. Then I had the brilliant idea to put it inside a brownie! And I’m glad I did. Through trial and error, I have a few tips for you. Use a brownie mix that is a brownie mix with no mix in. You don’t want extra chocolate chips or mix-ins in the batter. Another tip is to let the brownies completely cool before you remove them from the pan. If you try to remove them while they are warm, they can and most likely will fall apart. But if you wait until they are cool it’s much much easier to remove them from the pan. Also, be sure to grease the pans. It makes a huge difference in being able to get the brownie out. And lastly, be sure there is batter on the bottom of the pan, do not push the Reese’s Pieces Minature Cup all the way to the bottom, it’ll scorch and stick to the pan.

Reese's Pieces Miniature Cup BrowniesTo make these Reese’s Pieces Minature Cup Stuffed Brownies at home you will need the following –

Basic Brownie Mix and ingredients needed per the package
Reese’s Pieces Miniature Cups
Mini Muffin Tin
Grease (Crisco works much better than a cooking spray)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and move the rack to the center.

Next, grease your mini muffin pan with Crisco. You can use cooking spray but it doesn’t work as well. Be sure to get the sides and bottom, it will make a huge difference when it’s time to remove the brownies.

Prepare your brownie batter per the directions on the box. I used a basic Betty Crocker brownie mix.

Pour a spoonful of batter into each mini muffin well.

Next, place a Reese’s Pieces Minature cup in each muffin well. You can press it down a little into the batter but do not press it down to the bottom. You want there to be brownie batter between the pan and the miniature cup.

Spoon brownie batter to cover the Reese’s Pieces Miniature Cups.

Reese's Pieces Miniature Cup BrowniesPlace in the oven and bake for 18-25 minutes.

Remove and let cool. You want the brownies to completely cool before you try to remove them.

Once cool, carefully remove the brownies from the pan. Store in an airtight container.

Reese's Pieces Miniature Cup BrowniesThese taste really good warmed up a little with a glass of ice-cold milk.
