Say Good-bye to Adult Acne

Yes, I am in my thirties and I have acne. I guess the right terminology to use is “adult acne”. Either way, it’s still acne and it sucks. Somedays it’s worse than when I was a teenager! When I was a teenager I remember telling myself this will pass. One day I will never have another zit or breakout. Well, 20 years later and I’m still over here wondering when in the world is that day going to get here. I’ve been using Michael Todd charcoal detox deep pore gel cleanser now for a little over a week. And there might just be a little light at the end of the tunnel.

Detox Charcoal Deep Pore Gel CleanserBefore I started using the charcoal detox cleanser I was having a horrible bout. My whole neck, chin and cheek area looked like a mind field. This breakout has been particularly rough. But after using the cleanser for a few days I started to notice something, I didn’t seem to have any new acne and the old ones were started to heal. So that was pretty neat!

Mind you I have only been using this for about 10 days. And yes I have seen improvement but I still have acne. But now I have more acne bumps than I have open acne marks. It just takes time to heal. I’m just thankful that I am able to use a cleanser that works. That gives me that deep down clean without stripping my face and making it feel tight. My face feels refreshed after using the cleanser.

Micheal Todd BeautySo now on to the details about the cleanser and the user experience. I will admit it does not look pretty when it comes out. Remember, it’s a charcoal detox deep pore gel cleanser and it looks like it. It is an opaque black gel. Be sure to shake this bottle everytime you use it. I have a sneaking suspicion the charcoal may settle to the bottom or top when not being used. It states clearly on the back to shake it so remember to shake it.  Your face needs to be moist. So I would shake the bottle and get everything set up. Then splash some water on your face and pump a little of the cleanser into your fingertips. Now gently rub it in upward circles on your face and neck. If you do not have enough water on your face you’ll instantly know. You either won’t be able to move the cleanser around your skin or it will be extremely difficult. If that’s the case just add a little warm water to your fingertips and start making those circles. After you feel you’ve rubbed it in well enough it’s time to rinse. I liked using a nice luke warm water. It dissolved the gel and rinsed well. I followed up with a moisturizer and that was it. Within a week I could tell the old acne was healing and there was not any new acne. It worked!

You can purchase Michael Todd Beauty Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleaner online. Be sure to check out the other skin care products too.
