Secure Your Home with CUJO

The reviewer has been compensated in the form product/service for free.

It’s back to school time and Peyton just got her first computer to help her with homework! But that also means she will on the internet for school and I know she’ll be on there playing games. Now, I could change the wi-fi password whenever she is grounded or doesn’t do what she is supposed to. But let’s be honest, that’s a pain. At least I think it is. That’s why I’m installing CUJO. When Peyton has had enough screen time or she’s grounded I can just log into the CUJO app and turn off the Wi-fi to her computer! I don’t even have to get up, just reach for my phone, press a few buttons and boom, no more internet for Peyton!

CUJOCUJO does a lot more than shutting off the wi-fi to specific devices. I really wanted to add CUJO to our home setup for the security features it provides. You get business level internet security in your home! Remember that internet issues last year, where hackers used people’s small appliances wifi? Well, CUJO protects you from having your coffee maker, air freshener, speakers, or any other device connected to your homes internet form being used against you or in a cyber attack.  As technology progresses our homes are becoming more and more filled with appliances that are wireless and we need to do something to protect them. CUJO does this.

CUJO online security systemCUJO also provides parental controls beyond shutting off the internet to specific devices. There is an internet filter so you can keep pages you do not want your littles on out of site. Time limit can be set to! You can monitor the social media usage and what they are doing on it. This will come in handy when Peyton starts getting on social media in a few years! Because let’s be honest, kids do not always make the best choices. And what they may think is harmless and innocent and be perceived a different way.

CUJOThe setup CUJO is fairly simple. There is a YouTube video that walks you through how to do everything. Plus, there’s even video chat and phone tech support to help if you get stuck along the way! I actually video chatted to get some help. My home network is fairly complex and I was running into a little snag. But CUJO was there for me! They walked me through troubleshooting and got me up and running. It was nice being able to show the tech exactly what I was experiencing! No more trying to describe it, all I had to do was point my phone at it so he could see my dilemma. It really was a snap resolving my issues.

I’m so happy we have CUJO installed. I feel like I have an added layer of protection from viruses, hackers, and malware because CUJO will stop all that, plus I can keep Peyton safe will online.  It’s one more thing I can do as a parent to protect my family.

CUJO is available at Best Buy in-store and online.
