Simple Orange Chicken and Ling Ling Yakiniku Beef Fried Rice

This post was sponsored by Ling Ling, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

As you all know I am a huge fan of finding easy to cook weeknight meals.  So I’m going to share how to make a dinner that will please everyone! Tonight, I’m serving orange chicken and Ling Ling Yakiniku Beef Fried Rice. It’s a little of something for everyone.

Orange Chicken and Ling Ling Yakiniku BeefTo make the organ chicken you’ll need the following –

1 lb of chicken

3/4 c of Orange Marmalade

3/4 c BBQ Sauce

2 TBSP Soy Sauce

I picked up everything I needed, including the Ling Ling Yakiniku Beef Fried Rice at my local Walmart. Right now you can get a $2 off coupon to use on your purchase at your local retailer! Coupon expires on January 31, 2018.

Ling Ling Chinese Style Vegetable Fried RiceYou need to cook the chicken by itself. Some people cook it in the crockpot but I baked mine in the oven. Once the chicken is cooked, slice it into bite-size chunks and set aside.

While you are cutting up the chicken turn your crockpot on high. Make sure the crockpot is already warmed up or you’ll need to cook this dish a smidge longer.

Orange Chicken Next, combine the marmalade, BBQ sauce and Soy sauce together and whisk until combines.

Now, place your chicken in the hot crockpot and pout the mixture over the top. Stir it to make sure each piece of chicken is coated, then place the lid on and let it cook for 30 – 45 minutes until the chicken is hot.

When you are about 10 minutes out from serving, take 2 bags (1  box, 2 bags come in each box) and cook them in the microwave for 7 minutes. Be sure to follow the cooking directions on the package.

Then it’s time to dish it up and enjoy!

Ling Ling Yakiniku Beef Fried RiceI went with the Yakiniku Beef Friend Rice because I knew not everyone would want orange chicken but I also wanted them to have a dinner with protein in it. There’s 15 g of protein in 1 serving of the Yakiniku Beef Fried Rice.

All of Ling Ling Fried Rice dishes are made with infusion style cooking. Which means each grain of rice is infused with Ling Ling signature sauces for incredible flavor in every bite. It’ll be like going out for your favorite fried rice at your local restaurant without ever leaving the house!

Here are a few tips and tricks – If you like to meal prep for the week, bake the chicken breast and have them chopped up ready to go. Then it’ll only take you 45 minutes to do this in the crockpot during the week. Or you can simmer it on the stove for 20-30 minutes.

Ling Ling Yakiniku Beef Fried RiceYou can also serve the Ling Ling Yakiniku Beef as the main dish and pair it with an egg roll.

This really is a quick and simple dish that you can make any day of the week. It’s also a forgiving dish allowing you to take shortcuts when you’re short on time.
