Six Birthday Themes For Your Daughter’s Next Celebration

Birthdays are a wonderfully exciting time. But coming up with unique, special and fun ideas year after year can start to become challenging.  Sometimes picking out the perfect gift can be the first challenge, but don’t worry I have some great toy ideas for 10-year-old girls. With that out of the way, you can focus on creating a great party! You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create a great party. Here are some ideas of party’s you can organize in your own home.

Spa Party

Create a peaceful atmosphere with some tranquil music and invite over your child’s closest friends. If you can, you may want to buy everyone their own fluffy robe and slippers, or simply ask their parents if they can bring their own. Enlist your friends and family who can be set up at individual stations. Someone to do nails, another facials, and hair. You could also by some cheap dish tubs at the local dollar store to soak their feet in. Be sure to check if anyone has any skin sensitives and use child-friendly soap.

Princess Makeover Party

Most little girls probably have a princess dress already. Ask their parents if they bring one to change into. Then you could have different parts of the house dedicated to makeup and hair. They could do their own, or you can enlist your friends to help you. They can then change into their princess dresses. When the parents come to pick them up, you could organize a princess parade, so they can show off their new looks.

Teddy Bear Tea Party

Ask everyone to bring their favorite teddy bear or plush toy. Then have a table set up with small cakes and sandwiches. You can pick some really cute teapots and teacups at your local thrift store. Instead of tea fill the teapots with apple juice! This could make a great sleepover, and you could ask everyone to come in their pajamas and read stories over some birthday cake!

Fairy Party

Ask everyone to come in their best dresses. Buy some cheap, plain fairy wings at the dollar store and get everyone to decorate their own with glitter, puffy paint, markers, and other craft items.  They could also make their own wands and crowns. Now they are feeling like fairy’s you can create a fairy scavenger hunt. Where you can create fairy-themed clues to help them to find potions, fairy glitter, or fairy names. You could also have some fairy-themed coloring inn pages

Arts and Crafts Party

What child doesn’t love making things? For this party theme, you can create craft stations across your house. Children can then move around and create different things that they can then take home. Leaving them with an extra special party favor. Depending on your child’s age, you could have a section for painting, making jewelry or making party hats.

Talent Show Party

Create a little stage area in your house or garden. Run a range of activities throughout the day, singing, dancing, writing poems. Most children love to sing. You can find lots of YouTube videos with lyrics on them. Then let the children come up with what they would like to do in a talent show. You can then have the show when the parents come at the end of the day to present the show!

These are just a few party ideas perfect for a wide range of ages.
