Another easy slow cooker meal that you can start before you leave for work and will be ready when you get home. This slow cooker lemon garlic butter chicken is packed full of flavor and pairs perfectly with rice or mashed potatoes.
To make a batch of this slow cooker lemon garlic butter chicken you will need the following –
2 lb Chicken Thighs
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 tsp Paprika
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
4 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/3 C Chicken Broth
This dish only takes about 10 minutes to pull together.
Place the chicken thighs in a single layer on the bottom of the slow cooker
In a small bowl mix together the lemon juice and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken thighs.
Sprinkle the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, garlic, and Italian seasoning over the chicken thighs.
Dice the butter and sprinkle it on the chicken.
Place the cover on and cook on low 6-8 hours.
Serve over rice, cauliflower rice or even mashed potatoes.
