Who doesn’t like soft serve ice cream? I know everyone in my family does. But I hate driving to the ice cream parlor to enjoy it. Ice Cream Depot feels the same way so they created the world’s first at-home automatic soft serve ice cream machine. And it makes ice cream with the touch of a button.
Now, I will admit, this machine is a smidge heavy. Weighing in at 45 pounds it will take two hands to carry. And it is considerably easier to carry out of the box, the box adds a fair amount of bulk to it making it harder to get your arms around it.
Putting together the machine took about 5 minutes. It’s very intuitive but there are also step by step directions on page 6 of the manual to help you along.
I love this ice cream machine because it makes a batch of ice cream in 10-15 minutes! There’s no freezing of bowls or jumping through hoops. There’s no preplanning needed with tons of prep work involved. When you feel like you’d like some ice cream, take the Ice Cream Depot machine out, set it up on the counter, prepare your mix, pour it in the machine, press a button and wait 10-15 minutes. It’s really is that simple.
I also like how it’s small batches, about enough for 8-10 ice cream cones. So you’ll most likely use the ice cream you make in one batch in one evening. But if you don’t, place it in a container and freeze for later.
Did I mention this can also make adult beverages?? Grasshopper for New Years?? Just set the machine up, make your mix and it’ll be ready shortly! I would say if it makes 8-10 cones it probably makes 4-8 drinks depending on how large the drinks are being made. Think of how much fun this could be at parties?
And the ice cream combinations are endless! Be sure to keep an eye out on the site. We will be making ice cream every month in 2018 featuring the Ice Cream Depot machine. You’ll learn some awesome recipes and see how well the machine holds up with use after use.
