State Fair Pineapple Strawberry Lemonade

August 13, 2020 By Shanna Leave a Comment

To kick off August and our Minnesota State Fair inspired recipes we brought you a delicious recipe for fresh-squeezed lemonade. Today, I’m making fresh-squeezed lemonade with a little twist, Pineapple Strawberry Lemonade! This pineapple strawberry lemonade is pack full of flavor. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and sour with all notes, pineapple, strawberry, and lemon clearly there.

You will need the following to make your own State Fair Pineapple Strawberry Lemonade –

1 lb Strawberries
1 1/2 C Lemon Juice (about 5-8 lemons)
1 Large Pineapple
1 C Sugar
4 C Water
Ice
Large Pitcher
Blender

Pineapple Strawberry LemonadeSlice the pineapple into spears, be sure to get all the skin removed.

Hull the strawberries and rinse them off.

Place the strawberries, pineapple, and 1 C of water in to the blender and blend on high until smooth.

Juice the lemons until you have 1 1/2 lemon juice.

Combine the lemon juice, pineapple strawberry mixture, sugar, and remaining 3 C of water in a large pitcher.

Stir until sugar has dissolved.

You’ll want to give it a little taste. If it’s too sour add a little more sugar.

Serve over ice.

Pineapple Strawberry LemonadeKeep covered in the refrigerator. Be sure to stir well before you serve it.

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow to see what Minnesota State Fair inspired food we are making. Also, be sure to check out our other state fair recipes.
