About 3 years ago, Peyton discovered Peterson’s Pork Chops on a Stick at the Minnesota State Fair. I had never tried them before because I just thought, it’s a pork chop, I can eat that any time. But what makes these pork chops so special is the season and the grilling. They are juicy and full of flavor. And once you’ve taken a nibble you’ll want your own. Without the Minnesota State Fair this year Peyton was really bummed she wasn’t going to get her fill of Peterson’s Pork Chops on a Stick. So, like any amazing mother, I did a little research.
You can buy Peterson’s famous seasoning online! That way, you can enjoy those yummy pork chops year-round. So I ordered up a bottle and tried to make these iconic Peterson’s Pork Chops on a Stick at home.
You’ll need the following to make these mouth-watering pork chops at home –
Peterson’s Seasoning
Pork Chops
Sticks
Grill
The trick for this one is to buy the thinner pork chops but not too thin. Try to keep it around an inch thick. You want to make sure there’s a little fat on them too.
Seasoning them really well with the Peterson’s seasoning. I honestly do not think you can use too much.
Heat your grill to about 450 degrees.
Place your pork chops on the grill, this is where you are going to get the lines in your pork chops. Sear them for 2-3 minutes per a side. Then lower the heat and continue to cook until the internal temperature is 145 degrees.
Enjoy!
These are juicy, full of flavor a Minnesota State Fair classic.
