Take Veggie Go’s Back to School

I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."School starts tomorrow and I am racking my brain for snacks that I can send with Peyton that are good for her and that she will enjoy too. Veggie Go’s has a complete line of snacks that are good for kids! Filled with vegetables and fruit but not with any of the stuff you don’t want.

Veggie Go'sI’m always looking for healthy options to send with Peyton to school. I’m pretty picky about what she gets for snacks because I’m trying to limit her exposure to processed foods, junk food, and carbs. Well, the founders over at Veggie Go’s feel the same way. They have come up with a line of snacks that are Non-GMO, USDA Organic, gluten free and low in sugar! Plus there is one serving of fruit and veggies in every snack. Some days we struggle with getting our veggies in so this is very welcomed in our home.

Now, there are two types of snacks – Veggie-Go’s Strips and Veggie-Go’s Bites.

The Veggie-Go’s Strips are similar to fruit leather but they have veggies in them too! And they come in a wide selection of flavors –

Berry, Apple + Spinach

Beet, Apple + Cinnamon

Sweet Potato, Apple + Spices

Carrot, Apple + Ginger

Tropical Fruit + Kale

Veggie Go's Strips and BitesPeyton’s favorite was the Beet, Apple + Cinnamon. I wasn’t too surprised by that because she loves cinnamon apple sauce. But I was leery if she would like the beet. But she did!

The Veggie-Go’s  Bites are similar to a fruit snack but they have veggies! There are three flavor combinations to choose from –

Strawberry, Chia + Beets

Orange, Cocoa Nibs + Carrots

Berry, Rice Crisps + Greens

Peyton’s favorite Bite was the Strawberry, Chia + Beets. Again with the beets! I never thought she would enjoy them so much.

Another wonderful thing about Veggie-Go’s is they are nut free! So I can send these with Peyton to school and not have to worry about breaking the nut free snack zone rules. That’s huge for us as one of her friends is highly allergic to nuts.

There are a few options on how to purchase Veggie-Go’s. You can look online and see if they are sold near you, I found them at our local Whole Foods. Or you can order them online and have them shipped directly to your home!
