Terrific Trucks on Sprout

Terrific Trucks on Sprout ChannelThere’s a new children’s showing debuting on Sprout. If your little one is a truck loving child, then they are going love Terrific Trucks! Terrific Trucks stars 5 construction vehicles – Tork (the dump truck), Dug (the digger), Sparky (the front end loader), Stotz (the semi) and Blinker (the scooper). Your child will follow Tork, Dug, Sparky, Stotz and Blinker on their daily adventures throughout various construction projects.

Terrific Trucks Zipp Kristen BellThere are two of my favorite celebrities voices that will be guest staring throughout this season. Dax Shepard and Kristin Bell! I have loved Kristin since I first saw her in Veronica Mars so I am very excited to hear her in Terrific Trucks as she voices Zippy on the July 30th episode. Dax is in the premiere episode as Digby and will also be on the July 30th episode.

Digby Dax ShepardTerrific Trucks will help show little ones that no job is too big when you work together as a team. So while your little one is being entertained they will also learn about friendships, teamwork and overcoming obstacles. What a great way for a little one to see those qualities in action.

Terrific Trucks uses real machines. This is not an animated series. The creators of Terrific Trucks took existing machines, painted them, added eyes to their headlights and created each character. Your child will see an actual dump truck, front end loader and more interacting with each other with human-like personalities.  On top of your child learning social skills your child’s imagination will also be engaged.

I appreciate how this is a Saturday morning cartoon! New episodes will air on Sprout every Saturday at 8 am  CST. With the first episode premiering on July 9th. And if you missed the first episode you can catch it online on the Sprout Network.

I found this show by accident one Saturday morning when a couple of my grandkids spent the night. My grandson is crazy about all different kinds of vehicles!! He loves dump trucks!! I have liked Dax Shepard, one of the voices on this show, ever since we saw Zathura! This is a great movie for the whole family! He is married to Kristin Bell (another voice on the show) and they have a couple of children. I didn’t know they did voices on this show until I read this in your article. This show sounds like a family affair! Thanks for sharing!

This post was wonderfully helpful! Our 4-year-old son, who typically loves trucks and this show, started calling one of his trucks “Dork”. Since he was calling one of his other trucks “Blinker”, we figured that he was going with the TT theme, but we couldn’t remember which truck he was attempting to emulate (but figured it wasn’t named “Dork”). Then I googled and found this post. TORK!! Of course. Now we will have a creative son who (hopefully) won’t embarrass us by his use of a questionable name for his truck. Thanks again!!
