We discovered the Terry Treetop series a few months ago and just fell in love with Terry. He’s a lovable little boy with lively adventures. So when we were offered the chance to read Terry Treetop and the Little Bear in exchange for our honest and unbiased opinion I agreed. My daughter really enjoys these books so I knew she would want to read this one too.
When we catch up with Terry Treetop he is hanging out in his treehouse looking around. It had been a long winter but he heard the Cuckoo birds singing and that singled the first signs of spring! So Terry went on a mission. He wanted to make sure spring time was coming. So he climbed down from the treehouse and started to explore. As he was exploring and taking notes of the signs of spring he came across he ran into a little bear. This was the little bears first time experiencing spring and he was hungry. He was out experiencing everything for the first time and looking for food. But it wasn’t long until mama bear found him and said they needed to head back into the forest. So Terry and the little bear parted ways.
A while later Terry was sitting in his treehouse when he heard little bear. Terry climbed down from the treehouse and set out to find Barry (the little bear). When he found Barry he was stuck in a whole! No way for him to climb out. Terry devised a way to rescue Barry. Afterwards, Barry and his mother were grateful for Terry’s help and they all became friends.
This was another great Terry Treetop story. My daughter really enjoyed it. The illustrations are great too.
