That Would Be Me by Harry Connick Jr

This time of year I need to channel my inner strength and energy to get through the long days with minimal sun light. One way to get energized is to find a toe tapping, high energy beat to listen. Music has monumental influence over a person. It can make you happy, sad or down right silly. Harry Connick Jr recently released a new album, That Would Be Me. Let me just say it’s fab! The very first song, Smile, is a toe tapping, high energy, feel good song. I instantly loved it within the first few measures. Check it out for yourself.

Doesn’t it just make you want to get up and dance? I LOVE listening to this song.

The whole album is wonderful. The second song Like We Do slows it down a tad but it still has a strong beat. The remainder of the album is more slow paced than Smile but you will still find yourself tapping  your toes or shaking your tush.

With all the bombardment of holiday music everywhere you go this would be spectacular album to have playing while company is over this holiday season. I plan on having it playing this Thanksgiving while we have company over. Harry Connick Jr has a multi generational appeal that makes his music a hit with the little kids all the way up to the grandmas. This would be a wonderful gift for this season or stocking stuffer.
