I remember growing up and being obsessed with Transformers. Bumble Bee was my favorite. And between my brother and myself, we had nearly the whole collection! We even had Optimus Prime! Now I’m a mom and I get to share my love of Transformers with my daughter and nephews. On June 21st a new Transformers movie will be hitting theaters nationwide and I have a few sneak peeks to share with all of you.
Transformers: The Last Knight is unlike any of the other Transformers movies. Optimus Prime is gone. Humans and Transformers are at war. It’s unlike any time in Transformer movie history that we’ve ever seen. Forget about how things have been in the past, nothing will be the same.
After watching the trailer it appears that there is some research that needs to be done. Humans and Transformers are in a tough spot. The peace is gone. It looks like they need to look back into Transformer history in order to find a way for peace to begin.
As the Transformers search through their history since the arrival of the first Transformer on Earth, there is still massive chaos in the present. Those who were once seen as heroes are now villains. And those that were once seen as villains are now heroes. Everything is backward.
This looks like it is going to be a one of a kind Transformers movie and unlike any of the other ones in the franchise. I am excited to see it when it comes out next month. I will warn you it does look like it will be rated at least PG 13 if not rated R, more likely than not because of violence and possible language. If you’ve been comfortable with your child seeing other Transformer movies I’m sure this one will be ok with you too. I know I’m going to let Peyton see it and she’s 7 but she’s also the type of kid that can handle this and knows what words are appropriate for her to repeat.
Keep your eyes out for more teasers to be released as we get closer to the June 21st release date!
