I love gifting items that encourage creative and imaginative play. Playmobil is a brand that believes in this too. They help to foster kids creative side with spectacular playsets that kids love. I also like how they have a history line that encourages littles to play while learning a little bit about how things once where.
Pharoh’s Pyramid is part of the history line. It’s an ancient pyramid filled with trap floors, secret rooms, and mummies! There are a total of 5 chambers in the pyramid that house treasures, spiders and more. Playmobil has literally thought of everything from spiders to torches to a snake slithering about. There are even some gems!
Now, I will tell you, it took me a little while to put all the stickers on the pyramid. I would say about 45 minutes to apply the stickers and build the pyramid, it comes in several pieces. The directions are fairly easy to follow but I wouldn’t rush. It’s really easy to screw up a sticker by placing it in the wrong place. And I’ll warn ya, the stickers are not very forgiving. Once they stick to plastic they don’t want to come off. Which is good, you want them to stay in place, but it stinks if you made a mistake and need to readjust.
There are 2 removable sections of the pyramid so you can access 3 of the rooms. Otherwise, it only looks like there are two rooms to play in while the sides are on. The figures are moveable and you can switch out their clothes and accessories among them. Plus there are additional sets by Playmobil that you can purchase to expand your Egyptian empire.
Peyton really enjoyed playing with Pharoh’s Pyramid. She has spent hours acting out fight scenes, pyramid raids and has even incorporated a few of her other toys into the mix. Playmobil really does bring out the creative side of my child.
