Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. It’ll be here before you know it. I don’t know about you, but at my daughter’s school, they are not allowed to have candy in the school or give it as gifts. So I’m looking for some cute candy-free alternatives for teacher gifts. This Valentine’s Fizzy Bath Salts is a great alternative!
To make this Valentine’s Fizzy Bath Salts –
1 ounce Epsom Salts
2 ounces Baking Soda
1 ounce Cornstarch
1 ounce Citric Acid
1-2 drops Cherry Soap Colorant
15 drops Strawberry Fragrance Oil
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon heart sprinkles
Your first step is to pour the dry ingredients (Epsom Salts, Baking Soda, Cornstarch and Citric Acid) into a medium-size bowl, one ingredient at a time. It’s almost like you are layering them in.
Then you are going to stir it very well until completely combined.
In a small jar or bottle with a lid, add soap colorant, fragrance oil, and olive oil. Secure the lid and shake well until everything is combined.
Slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking the entire time.
Continue whisking until you have an even texture.
Add sprinkles and stir.
Place into a jar that has an airtight lid.
When you want to use, pour 3 or more tablespoons in your bath. It’s an instant fizzy bath!
Remember, when not using the Valentine’s Bath Fizzys to store them in a cool, dry place.
