I am always looking for a new cookbook to try out. I love experimenting in the kitchen and I also like trying out new foods. With having a little one around I try to expose her many different
types of cooking. When I was asked to try out the Vegetarian Quick & Easy cookbook I agreed. I thought this would be a great starting point for us in trying to keep up with meatless Monday’s this year.
The first thing I noticed with this book is it is not broken up like traditional cookbooks. But then again there is not any meat or seafood so I guess it really cannot be broken up like a traditional book. Instead the sections are: Easy and Quick Recipes for Busy Moms, Quick and Easy Recipes for Romantic Meals, Quick and Easy Recipes that Even Kids Can Make and Easy and Quick Recipes for Parties. There is lots of variety.
We tried out a few of the recipes from the Easy and Quick Recipes for Busy Moms. And they were very tasty. Vanilla French Toast and Cheesy Quesadillas were a hit in my house. If you are looking for a cookbook to help expand your skills, help with your Vegetarian lifestyle or just help out with your meatless Mondays meal planing this book can help. There is plenty of variety.
