Zootopia is Out on DVD

Wohoo!! Zootopia was released today on DVD, Blue Ray and Digital. This morning, I woke Peyton up early and we headed to Target. We were the first ones there! The young man was still stocking the shelves with Zootopia copies and we bought the first one this morning at our local Target.  With our Target special edition Zootopia in hand, we headed to the checkout and then off to my office to spend the day.

Peyton has been waiting so patiently for Zootopia to come out. She saw it THREE times in the theater! She kept finding different groups of people to take her. I gotta give her credit, for a 5-year-old she is pretty resourceful. I have never seen a movie three times at the theater.

Unfortunately, I do not have a dvd player in my office but the Target exclusive Zootopia also comes with a digital copy.  So I loaded the digital copy onto our Amazon account and set Peyton up to watch her movie. I really wanted to see it too but I had lots of work I needed to attend to. But I did get to listen to it! And sometimes I was even able to steal a glance or two of the screen.

It was just as good the second time as the first time. Even though I didn’t get to sit down and watch it like Peyton did I still enjoyed listening to the whole movie. I love it when movies play to several audiences at once. I forgot about all the humor and how it plays out on several levels. For example – The DMV scene is hilarious! Kids love how the sloths are in general. Adults find it amusing because that is how we honestly feel when we visit the DMV.
