I like to enjoy coffee year-round but sometimes in the summer, I don’t want to start the day with a hot cup of coffee. It’s already hot and muggy, I don’t want a warm drink but I still want my coffee. I also like to enjoy flavored coffee. This month we are enjoying the Sundae Coffee Variety Pack K-cups. We received a Sundae Coffee 48 count variety pack filled with flavors like – Butter Pecan, Chocolate Swirl, Dulce de Leche, Ice Cream Sandwich, Maple Walnut, Mint Chocolate Chip, Mocha Chip, Peanut Butter Cup, Pralines and Cream, Rocky Road, Toffee Crunch, and Vanilla Swirl. So many choices!
I decided to turn the Butter Pecan into a blended coffee drink so I can have my coffee on those hot humid mornings but in an iced beverage sort of way.
This is what you’ll need to make the Blended Butter Pecan Sundae Coffee
2 cups brewed Butter Pecan Sundae Coffee cooled
2 cups of ice cubes made from Butter Pecan Sunda Coffee
Whipped Cream
Caramel Sauce
This recipe does require you to plan ahead a little. So first, you are going to brew a few k-cups of your preferred flavor of Sundae Coffee, I chose Butter Pecan. Let the coffee cool to about room temperature, then pour into ice cube molds and freeze.
Brew an additional 2 cups of Butter Pecan Sundae Coffee and put it in the fridge, it’ll be fine in the fridge for a few days before it becomes bitter.
When you want to make your blended beverage get your blender out and grab those ice cubes and cooled coffee from the refrigerator.
Place 2 cups of ice and 2 cups of the Butter Pecan Sundae Coffee in the blended and bled.
Pour into your preferred glass.
Top with whip cream.
Drizzle with caramel sauce.
Enjoy!
It’s a great way to enjoy your coffee on a hot summer day.
