Can You Find the Northern Cardinal

Review DisclosureIt’s a bird! No. It’s a plush! No. It’s both! Wild Republic creates beautiful plushies of various birds. What’s unique is each bird has a sound chip inside and when pressed you hear what the bird call sounds like.Northern CardinalWild Republic sent us the Northern Cardinal to try out. First thing I noticed was the little red fluff of hair on the cardinals hair. I love that little fluff! Then as I was holding my new friend I started to hear a cardinal call. I didn’t notice there was a pressure point in the back of the Cardinal that when pressed makes my new friend chirp just like a real live Cardinal! It was adorable.

Wild Republic was created in 1979 by a family to help educate children about wild life while putting a fun spin on it. What child does not love a plush animal? Each toy Wild Republic creates has a nature theme like birds, fish or animals you would find in a zoo. By creating engaging plush animals that resemble real animals Wild Republic has opened a child’s mind to learning while in a state of play.

Whenever I’ve seen a Wild Republic plush at a zoo or national park my daughter has begged me to get her one. We do have a few birds floating around our home. But the one thing I notice is that whenever we are at a place that carries Wild Republic plushes they are alway nearly sold old. Why? Because kids love them.

Wild Republic BirdsI like Wild Republic plush animals because it’s a way to get children excited about nature and to teach them about different animals. I was very happy to have been sent the Northern Cardinal. We have been trying to find this one since last summer but every time we came across Wild Republic birds the Cardinal was always sold out.

You can find Wild Republic birds online or zoos world wide.

Amazing!! My 4 year old grandson would love those birds. He’s been obsessed with them sense he came to Florida and went to the beach. Maybe they have coastal ones too. I’ll have to check.
