Crockpot Baked Apples

Nothing says fall more than some baked apples. They are a classic fall dessert that are normally reserved for the weekend. But now you can set them in the crockpot and go about your evening. They’ll be done in time for dessert! Tender, juicy, baked apples that go perfectly with a scoop of ice cream.

Crockpot Baked ApplesTo make a batch of my Crockpot Baked Apples you will need the following –

5 Gala Apples
Granola
3 tbsp Melted Butter
5 tsp Maple Syrup
Ice cream
Whipped Cream

There is a little bit of prep work for this recipe.

First, cut the tops off of the apples. Then scoop out the center. Make sure you get all the seeds and core.

Place the apples in the crockpot.

Fill each apple with granola

Pour 1 tsp of Maple Syrup into each apple

Drizzle the apples with the melted butter.

Place the lid on and cook for about 3 hours on high. You want them soft but not falling apart.

Carefully remove the apples from the crockpot and place in a bowl or small plate.

Scoop a generous amount of ice cream and enjoy! Crockpot baked apples are perfect for any day of the week.
