A Dog’s Purpose Giveaway

Alright, grab a box of tissues and get ready to bawl. Peyton had been so excited to see A Dog’s Purpose. She has been talking about it nonstop for months. So when it finally arrived, she made me sit down and watch it. Like the minute it arrived. Going into it, all I knew is it was a movie about a dog. I had no idea that I would be crying off and on for the duration of the movie! Or that Peyton would make fun of me for crying!

A Dog's PurposeA Dog’s Purpose is an extremely touching and emotional movie. The movie is about the same dog, Bailey. We watch Bailey travel through several different lives and what he experiences each time he is reborn. I thought it was neat how in each life, Bailey remembers his previous lives and what he had learned. When Bailey came back as a German Shephard Peyton was super excited.

When Bailey came back as a German Shephard Peyton was super excited. But that was also the one life that had both of us in tears.

A Dog’s Purpose reminds us of how amazing our furry four legged buddies are. Sometimes, I think we forget and take our pets for granted. When I think of how much Matilda and Finnegan mean to my daughter it makes me smile. They are her protectors, playmates, and best buddy. She frequently reads to Finnegan in the evenings. And Matilda likes to play on the gym set with Peyton.  They go everywhere with her. They know when we are taking her to school and they know when it’s time to go pick her up. They even know the way to school! And every day, when Peyton gets in the car they great her with lots of kisses.

Dogs are really amazing. They can calm a hectic situation, they can ease anxiety, they can help find missing people and so much more. A Dog’s Purpose takes us through the dog’s perspective of what it’s like to be with us. But the very end was my favorite part of the movie. I was full on waterworks, with tears falling down my face. It was so touching. I can’t tell you what happens. But if you’ve been a pet owner I’m sure you’ve wondered if our pets ever come back to us in another life.  If you watch A Dog’s Purpose you’ll have your answer!
