It’s no secret that we are huge fans of The Little Mermaid. Remember when I announced we were going to Disney World a few years ago?? I did it with a picture of Ariel from the Art of Animation resort. And guess where we stayed?? In a Little Mermaid room at the Art of Animation. It was a magical vacation! So when we were approached and asked if we would like to a do a The Little Mermaid themed craft by Seedling I couldn’t hit respond quick enough. Of course, we want to!! Plus, I had bought The Little Mermaid crown craft when I was at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair a few years ago so I was excited to see what this kit was.
The Seedling makes unique and creative DIY craft sets for little ones. I’ve purchased a few over the years and have always been impressed with the quality and detail in each kit. Today, Peyton was going to create her very own The Little Mermaid bracelet.
As Peyton was looking through the kit I heard a squeal. That squeal was because she came across a little wooden dinglehopper that she couldn’t wait to use in her bracelet creation! Also included in the kit were various seashells, twine, and some other materials to help Peyton create a bracelet. There actually looked like there were enough supplies to create 2 or 3 bracelets depending on how big you made them and how much you put on each one.
Peyton wanted to use two huge pearl-like balls, a whole bunch of seashells and her dinglehopper to make her bracelet. So that’s what she set out to do. I’d say it took her about 10 minutes to line everything up and put together her bracelet. She was super excited.
And for those of you that didn’t know, The Little Mermaid is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary with a release to Blu-Ray/4K with bonus features!! Check out all the details over here. And be sure to check out our The Little Mermaid inspired cupcakes too!
