Have an Eco-Friendly Easter

Review DisclosureWrappily Eco Friendly Basket Shred Embellishments PaperEvery year millions of moms and dads across America buy fake Easter grass to fill baskets. Once Easter has come and gone that plastic grass is still here. It doesn’t break down, it’s not biodegradable and it can be harmful if swallowed. So not safe to have around pets. What if there was an eco-friendly alternative? Once that was just as cute if not cuter than fake grass? Well there is! Wrappily makes a fabulous shredded paper basket fill that is eco-friendly. I think it actually looks nicer than fake grass. Plus when I buy the fake plastic grass I always seem to need 2 or 3 bags to fill the basket and have a nice firm base so the candy does not sink down. With the Wrappily basket shred all I needed was one package. One package was more than enough to fill my daughter’s large Easter basket. I chose to use the purple basket shred and it looked fabulous with our pastel basket.

Wrappily Eco Friendly Basket ShredWrappily Easter BasketWhen I first looked at the basket and package of shred I wasn’t sure if one bag was going to do it. In fact I was pretty sure I was going to need a second bag. But then I opened the bag and started to pull apart the shred and place it in the basket. Nope, one bag was all I was going to need. Wrappily does a wonderful job and giving you a generous amount of shred. So much that the one bag was more than enough for our large basket. And even after placing several pieces of candy inside the basket the shred did not collapse. I was very impressed I could place the M&M spinner wand into the shred and it stood upright! This makes arranging the basket much easier.

Wrappily Eco Friendly Basket ShredWrappily has a few different choices for basket shred colors that are perfect for every occasion. And if you need wrapping paper Wrappily has you covered! Again,  eco-friendly wrapping supplies that are good for the environment and make your gift look beautiful .  Wrappily even carries a full line of embellishments to give an eco-friendly finishing touch to any gift.

Great ideas! Shredded papers from the office (bright colors especially) work great too.
