Introducing Your Child To Beauty And Style

It’s sad how children grow up, isn’t it? One minute they’re playing dress up and look ridiculous. The next they’re wearing makeup, designer clothes and look far too old for their own good. It can be tough when your little girl asks if she can wear makeup for the first time. You can either accept and embrace it or fight till your last breath with phrases like you’re too young, and you’re not ready. Or, if you’re tactful, darling you look beautiful without it. Still, there are some tips I can provide if you want to let your child alter their style in sensible ways that match their age. So, let’s look at a few possibilities.

The Makeup Question

When it comes to makeup, less is more, and this is the lesson that you should pass on to your child when she reaches the age to start wearing it. The same can be said for perfume and plenty of other beauty products. If you teach your child this early on, you can ensure that she looks like she’s not wearing any makeup at all in her early teens and still looks beautiful. You can also have fun mommy daughter dress up days where you can help her practice and perfect her makeup, so it doesn’t look terrible. Or, so it doesn’t attract attention in school. You might also want to think about ensuring that she is using makeup made up of natural products, no pun intended. You can find some natural makeup on http://www.thegoodtrade.com/features. Natural makeup is far better for your skin and doesn’t risk possible damage or discoloration.

New Color

Or, perhaps your little girl is desperate to dye her hair a new color and experiment with different shades. Your best option here is to make sure that you take her to a professional. Particularly, if you are opting for a permanent color change. Otherwise, there’s a lot that can go wrong. If you dye hair multiple times, you do start to kill the roots, and you don’t want that. You can also get the completely wrong color and end up embarrassing them.

You might even find the dye doesn’t work. If you are dying hair at home make sure that you’re leaving it on for the right amount of time. If your hair is darker, you’ll need to leave it on longer. If it’s light already, it will take less time to change. Usually, to get the hair to go light, you need to take it to a neutral color first and then build it back up. It’s also worth making sure you are using a semi-permanent dye. These last a few weeks a slowly lose their color.  Here are the top brands: www.testingteam.net/best-semi-permanent-hair-color-review, if you use one of these you guarantee a great look. If your child loves it, you can make it permanent with a different dye later on.

Piercings

Clips on are your friends when it comes to piercings. These days you can get fake piercings that look very real. Older teenage girls use these all the time when they are showing off new styles in Instagram posts and creating a certain look without creating a permanent effect. Check out some of the possibilities at http://www.piercedandmodified.net.

We these ideas help you let your child explore beauty and style without too many problems.
