If you see a huge metal… [Continue Reading]

Protect Your Color with ColorProof

Color Proof Hair Care

I spend a lot of money every other month coloring my hair. ColorProof is salon quality hair care products designed to protect your color and your hair! Unlike other products out there that care for your hair color, ColorProof always recognizes you have hair needs beyond taking ...

Give the Gift of Hope

Compassion International

Last year Peyton and I took in The Compassion Experience. I wanted to teach my child about helping others and giving hope to those less fortunate. We went through the exhibit and learned about the lives of 3 children - Rueben, Brinda and Julia.  I was moved by these children's experiences. Because of Compassion International and generous sponsors these children were lifted up from poverty, saved from violence and given a chance at a better life. Peyton was surprised to see how other children ...

AXE Body for the Holidays

AXE Body Products Island Air Night Forest

I have a nephew that is turning the big 10 in a few weeks. As he gets older it is becoming harder to shop for him. Why? Because I can't buy him a remote control car and call it a day. I also want to buy him presents that will benefit him. One thing I will be giving him this year is Axe Body care products. When kids start to hit puberty they need different hygiene products than when they were toddlers. AXE has several lines of body care products that the boys and dads can use. AXE is also ...

Bring Home Pete’s Dragon for the Holidays

Disney Petes Dragon

Earlier this year I took Peyton to see Pete's Dragon in the theater. It was a pretty emotional film, for both of us. I was concerned this would turn Peyton off but it didn't. Pete's Dragon is full of emotional scenes that engage the audience. Within the first 30 seconds, we were both engrossed in the film. I will admit, the first 10 minutes or so are pretty intense. As a parent, I was moved by the opening scene. We see Pete and his family on a road trip and Pete is reading to his mother. Such a ...
