Snowman Oreo Cookies

Looking for a cute, simple and fun recipe for cookies that the kids can help with? I have a no-bake, no-fuss cookie that the whole family can help with. These adorable snowman oreo cookies are a huge hit every time I make them. I like making them because there is no baking and cleanup is a snap.

To make these snowman oreo cookies you will need the following –

24 Oreo Cookies
1 bag White Chocolate Wafers
1/2 bag Black Chocolate Wafers
1/4 bag Orange Chocolate Wafers
Small Round Tip and Piping Bag or Bottle
Wax Paper
Glass bowl
Fork

Your first step is to lay out a long strip of wax paper to prep the area you will be working in.

Next, pour all the white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals until all the wafers are melted and the consistency is smooth. Be sure to stir the wafers after each 30-second interval.

Drop an Oreo into the melted white chocolate. With a fork, pick up the chocolate covered Oreo and gently tap off the excess chocolate.

Lay the Oreo on the wax paper and let it completely harden, it should take about 10-15 minutes.

Next, place the black chocolate wafers in a small bottle and melt in 30-second intervals. Be sure to stir the chocolates in between 30-second intervals.  You can also use a baggie and place the chocolate wafers in the baggie to microwave. Be sure to knead the bag in between intervals. Then use a piping bag and a small round tip to pipe the chocolate.

With the black chocolate, you are going to place 2 black dots for eyes and then 4 black dots for the mouth.

Now it’s time to add a carrot nose! Place the orange chocolate wafers in a bottle or baggie and melt them like you did the black chocolate wafers.

Snowman Oreo CookiesPipe a nose in the shape of a triangle, a.k.a. carrot, between the eyes and mouth you just added.

Let the chocolate eyes, nose and mouth harden.

Snowman Oreo CookiesStore in an airtight container in a cool place. If you do decide to store in the fridge take them out about a half-hour before you would like to serve them so the chocolate can come up to room temperature.

Be sure to check out our Santa Oreo Cookies too! Together they make for a super cute cookie platter.
