Minnesota State Fair Chocolate Dipped Bananas Recipe

Minnesota State Fair Chocolate Dipped Bananas One of my favorite traditions every summer is visiting the Minnesota State Fair. Of course, there are the famous cheese curds, Sweet Martha's Cookies, and endless new foods to try each year, but sometimes it's the simple treats that become family favorites. One snack that surprised us was the chocolate dipped frozen banana. At first, it didn't seem all that exciting. After all, it's just a frozen banana dipped in chocolate. But after taking that ...

State Fair Classic Milk Chocolate Fudge

One of our must-stops, when we visit the Minnesota State Fair, is the fudge booth. We always have to stop and get a sample or two and then buy a few pounds to bring home with us. Peyton was bummed when she realized there would be no fudge booth to close out the summer this year. So, today we are sharing a classic milk chocolate fudge recipe that we would normally find at our favorite fudge booth at the Minnesota State Fair. To make a batch of State Fair Classic Milk Chocolate Fudge you will ...

I think Peyton watched it over a dozen times the first weekend.  So we decided we wanted to try this cereal and turn it into a giant marshmallow treat! To make these at home you will need ...

State Fair Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Fudge

Fudge is a treat I usually only indulge in a couple of times of the year. The Minnesota State Fair is one of those times. I'll buy a sample box with 5 different flavors and savors it for a few weeks. But with no Minnesota State Fair this year, only a drive-thru fair that does not include fudge and very limited travel for Peyton and myself we have not bought any fudge! So this year, I'm making some! This fudge is not as dense as most fudge I usually buy, it's a lighter fudge, very creamy. If ...

State Fair Giant Lucky Charms Treats

There's just something about fair food, the bigger the better! And that definitely holds true for these Giant Lucky Charms Treats. There is a booth at the Minnesota State Fair that sells a variety of giant cereal marshmallow covered treats. You can find nearly any type of cereal turned into a marshmallow treat. Today, we are going to make giant treats at home with one of Peyton's favorite cereals, Lucky Charms. To create these at home you will need the following - 1 stick of Butter, ...

State Fair Deep Fried Cookie Dough

We are nearing the end with our Minnesota State Fair inspired recipes. So far, we've shared 3 weeks of recipes with you, everything from fresh-squeezed lemonade to deep-fried candy bars. Today, we are making State Fair Deep Fried Cookie Dough! We are going to use edible cookie dough for this recipe. And I'm also taking some short cuts and using premade edible cookie dough too.  We used chocolate chip edible cookie dough but you can use whatever your favorite edible cookie dough flavor is.
