As many of you know, Peyton and I have our long-awaited Florida vacation coming up this October. I have been planning this trip for nearly FOUR YEARS! In order to be able to really enjoy our trip and to be physically able to do everything, we want to do I need to shed some of this weight. Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is going to help me do that. I am going to use physical exercise and a healthy diet to help shed these excess pounds before our trip.
The reason I’ve failed on so many other diets is that I get discouraged. I’ve talked about my discouragement before. I get discouraged because I can’t eat carbs, or fats or the food tastes like cardboard. I can hang on for a few weeks but eventually, I crack and I devour anything sweet or carb-loaded insight. Basically I feel deprived, hungry, and cranky. With Always Eat After 7 PM I am not experiencing those same feelings. I don’t feel deprived. The food is extremely tasty and full of flavor. And I do not feel like anything is off-limits. I have not been hungry once this whole time either.
Always Eat After 7 PM has been easy for me to stay on track because I like it. I like the way the food tastes. I enjoy that I am still able to cook complex or simple meals. My daughter has been excited for the meals too. And I’m full. Did I mention that already? I have never gone to bed with that gnawing hunger in my stomach like I have with so many other diet plans I’ve tried over the years.
So for me, I am able to set healthy goals to reach with the help of Always Eat After 7 PM.
My favorite meal has been the loaded sweet potato with chili. I could eat that every night and be happy. It’s filling and satisfying. The sweet potato gives the chili a sweet little twist. Plus I love the added texture.
“Late-night eating also curbs calorie intake the next day. In a four-week study, dieters added a snack to their daily regimen 90 minutes after dinner every night, and check this out: late-night eaters ate an average of 397 fewer calories per day.” – Joe Marion
See even Joe knows that going to bed satisfied leads to success.
Another recipe we’ve been enjoying while working the Always Eat After 7 PM plan are the no-bake salted caramel bars. Oh my goodness these are delicious! Definitely satisfies those chocolate cravings.
With the progress I’ve made in the past few weeks and the way I feel when I’m working the Always Eat After 7 PM plan I am confident that we will head off to our dream Florida vacation prepared and a few pounds lighter.
