5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories
Little ones love to listen to stories. Plus reading to your child is a wonderful way to increase their vocabulary. Peyton is fascinated by God and likes to hear the bible stories. But reading the actual bible to her can be a dry read or sometimes a tad too graphic. That's where 5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories comes in. 5-Minute Nighttime Bible Stories is filled with the stories of the bible but brought down to a child's level. For example, when reading about Noah's Ark the focus is on how 2 ...
National Get Outdoors Day
Did you know National Get Outdoors Day is coming up? Peyton and I love to spend time outside. I'm actually planning out our camping trips for the summer now. With our Target special edition Zootopia in hand, we headed to the checkout and then off to my office to spend the day. Peyton has been waiting so patiently for Zootopia to come out. She saw it THREE times in ...
Madison’s Place First All-Inclusive Park
Any family with a child has been to a park. If your child has a disability you quickly notice there is not much your child can enjoy. Whether your child has a physical, emotional or mental disability it can be a challenge to find a park where they can participate and feel safe. Now imagine you have two or three children, all under 5 but one has to wear braces on their legs. This greatly diminishes what activities the whole family can participate in. Madison's Place in Woodbury, Minnesota ...
Pie Five Pizza
Peyton is in the office with me this week and I'm trying to make it as fun as possible. One of my favorite places to go for lunch is Pie Five Pizza. We've only had one in Woodbury for a few months so it's relatively new for us. Peyton rarely gets to go out to lunch so today I decided to make it special by letting her go to Pie Five Pizza. Pie Five Pizza is like the Chipotle for pizza. You get to walk through a line and choose your crust, sauce, toppings and meats. Then they bake it right there. ...
