Rainbow Ice Cream Bread

If you have a tween in the house I'm sure you've seen the Tik Tok craze Ice Cream Bread. It's taking over Tik Tok and my child is constantly talking about it. So, to kick the new year off I thought I would share a recipe on how to make this soon to be famous Rainbow Ice Cream Bread. To make a batch of this Rainbow Ice Cream Bread - 1 Pint Vanilla Ice Cream  1 1/2 Cups Self Rising Flour 1/3 Cup Sprinkles  Cooking Spray (optional)    First, pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. ...

The Ultimate Coffee Ice Cream

Today we are going to combine two of my favorite things - coffee and ice cream! I am going to make one of the best coffee ice cream recipes I have ever tried. But I will warn you, this is a time-consuming recipe but very worth it.  There are several steps with long breaks in between.  If you are looking to make this for a special event, I would make the ice cream mix the day before and let it sit in the fridge until you need to make it. It tastes best fresh, right out of the ice cream machine. ...

No Churn Blueberry Ice Cream

I don't know about your kids, but Peyton loves blueberries. She can sit down and eat a whole container and still be asking for more. So when we saw the movie Abominable and the blueberries got huge and exploded I had an idea to make a no-churn blueberry ice cream. I knew it would be a hit with Peyton and probably with other fans of Abominable. Plus, it's a fairly simple recipe so the kids can help! Little can help with everything but the first step and the bigger kids can help with all the ...

Cherry Soft Serve Ice Cream with Ice Cream Depot

Cherry Soft Serve with Ice Cream Depot

We are having a blast trying out new recipes with our Ice Cream Depot machine. Tonight, I created a recipe for Cherry Soft Serve Ice Cream. I will admit, the strength of the cherry flavor is going to depend on the ripeness of the cherries you use. Since it's the middle of winter in Minnesota, I used canned tart cherries. This gave the soft serve a mild cherry flavor. This summer I plan on recreating the recipe and adjusting it to be used with fresh cherries from Michigan and see how it changes ...

Soft Serve Ice Cream with the Touch of a Button with Ice Cream Depot

Who doesn't like soft serve ice cream? I know everyone in my family does. But I hate driving to the ice cream parlor to enjoy it. Ice Cream Depot feels the same way so they created the world's first at-home automatic soft serve ice cream machine.  And it makes ice cream with the touch of a button. Now, I will admit, this machine is a smidge heavy. Weighing in at 45 pounds it will take two hands to carry. And it is considerably easier to carry out of the box, the box adds a fair amount of bulk ...

Cupcakes in Ice Cream Cones?

Patriotic Cupcake Ice Cream Cones

Once in a while I'll see a cute photo of what I think is an ice cream cone and really it's a cone filled with cake! So when I saw the cupcake ice cream cone pan I just had to buy it so I could test it out. I wanted to see what was so special about this pan. It's a rectangular cake pan with an insert to hold 12 ice cream cones. Could you do without? Maybe, but you'd have to be careful when moving them around so they do not tip over AND be sure there are no large vibrations throughout the home ...
